WWH (We Will Help) Charitable Foundation has long been a prominent advocate for growth and development in Aarey Forests for close to 2 decades now, and while our work is far from over, we have been blessed with yet another opportunity to extend our reach and create prospects for more Aarey tribals than ever before.
We would like to present our brand new vision & project, Aarey Vasundhara - An Ecovillage, a promising piece of land in the heart of Aarey Milk Colony, where we have the chance to make a tremendous impact in urban ecological sustenance.
At Aarey Vasundhara, we are putting brick and brick together to create an Ecovillage within the Aarey ecosystem and provide locals and tribals with opportunities to be self-dependent and self-reliant. We are determined to create a comprehensive ecological experience for everyone, which includes a garden training and educational hub, nature trails, modern agro-tech centre, a pottery & ceramic centre, and a rejuvenating area for kids, youth, environmentalists, enthusiasts in and around the city, and further beyond.
We are WWH (We Will Help) Charitable Foundation, a Public Trust, established in 2013 and focused on carrying out services and activities for the benefit of tribal people living across Maharashtra. Starting with tribals in Aarey Milk Colony's 27 hamlets or padas, we have extended our reach to other tribal villages across the state, championing the cause of environmental awareness, social development, women empowerment, health, and education with a strong band of volunteers.
Our collaborations have strengthened us through the years. We have joined hands with various CSR movements at Deloitte, TATA Group, The Times of India, Intercontinental the Renaissance, Omkar Foundation, Idobro, CSA, various Rotary Clubs, Lion Clubs, Lionbridge, Bhatia Hospital, TCS, and many other NGOs, including The Robinhood Army. We also work cohesively with The Mumbai Police and the Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika (BMC).
